Job Title: Certified Medical Coder (Athena Software Experience Required)

About Us
SynergyHealth 360 PLLC is a U.S.based multi-specialty healthcare group. We provide end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), including credentialing, billing, coding, denial follow-up, and payment posting. We are seeking a Certified Medical Coder with strong experience in Athena software to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on provider documentation.
- Review charts, medical records, and superbills for coding accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with payer-specific guidelines and regulations.
- Work within Athena (AthenaOne) EHR for coding, claim creation, and charge capture.
- Collaborate with the billing and denial management teams to resolve coding-related rejections.
- Maintain coding accuracy, productivity, and turnaround time requirements.
**Qualifications**:
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC), CCS, or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum 3+ years of medical coding experience, preferably in multi-specialty practices.
- Hands-on Athena software coding and billing workflow experience.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Familiarity with payer policies, Medicare/Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Work Schedule
Full-time (Remote - India)
Shift: 8:00 PM IST - 5:00 AM IST (aligning with U.S. business hours).
