Packaging Expert

- Position Purpose:

- Provide front line expert support for all packaging-specific issues at the sites within one or more production steps, to ensure execution of processes on-time, continuously improving in quality and productivity, performed in compliance to cGMPs, SOPs and applicable guidelines and functional standards. Supports the sites in the packaging design & technology, standards for packaging materials and formats using the network of the sites.
- Your key responsibilities:

- Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create regional / site pharmaceutical technology / packaging SOPs & templates if needed.
- Support shop floor on Packaging Performance Qualification (PPQ) execution (physical presence, sampling) and train operators for execution of Packaging Performance Qualification (PPQ).
- First level escalation (shop-floor) on deviations, complaints: investigate and resolve for packaging.
- Review and approve INITIAL master packaging record (new product at site for first SKU). Train operators on packaging process.
- Contribute to URS for new packaging equipment/tooling including auxiliary control systems, to ensure compliance with the latest ERS requirements.
- Support to define packaging material specifications for new and existing packaging materials.
- Support the GTS and sites in the Value creation & Environmental Sustainability Projects.
- Harmonization & Standardization of packaging.

**Minimum requirements**
- What you’ll bring to the role:
- M.Sc. / Masters in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Engineering or equivalent scientific degree with minimum 8+years experience in process support role on the shop floor of GMP manufacturing and/or QA/QC.
- Fluent in English and proficient in site local language.
- Proven process understanding (Pharma, GMP, Regulatory aspects).
