**Job Title**: Apparels Buying Merchandiser

**Department**: Merchandising / Buying

**Location**: Navi Mumbai

**Reports To**: Senior Buying Manager / Head of Merchandising

**Job Summary**:
The Apparels Buying Merchandiser is responsible for managing the sourcing, selection, and procurement of apparel products in line with market trends and customer preferences. The role involves working closely with suppliers, designers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective buying while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Source and select apparel products based on customer needs, market trends, and seasonal forecasts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers locally and internationally.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure best value and quality.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure accurate samples, approvals, and production timelines.
- Monitor order progress, shipment schedules, and quality control to ensure timely and satisfactory deliveries.
- Analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and market data to make informed buying decisions.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and stock movements.
- Prepare buying reports, product line sheets, and cost analysis for management reviews.
- Ensure all products meet company standards, compliance norms, and customer expectations.

**Key Skills & Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Management, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in apparel buying or merchandising, preferably in export or retail sectors.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of fabrics, garments, and production processes.
- Familiarity with fashion trends, seasonal planning, and pricing strategies.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP or buying software is a plus.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple suppliers and product lines.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
