Merchandising Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with the organizations goals and target market, Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer preferences, market trends, and competitors activities. Plan product assortments, including product selection, pricing, and inventory management, based on market demands and sales data. Collaborate with the buying team to ensure timely procurement of products, considering factors such as lead time, seasonality, and availability. Vendor Management and Product Sourcing:Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and product quality. Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery, resolving issues, and managing vendor performance. Source new products and suppliers, staying updated with industry trends and identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Creating seasonal displays and recommending new products based on customer preferences and trends
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers expectations and companys objectives
- Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
- Communicating with vendors about pricing changes, order fulfillment status, and other issues that may arise during the ordering process
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc
- Develop strong product knowledge across all categories and keep abreast of industry trends, Remain up to date with industrys best practices
