Key responsibilities of a sous chef:

- **Food preparation**: Overseeing the preparation of dishes according to recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- **Staff management**: Training new kitchen staff, assigning tasks, and supervising cooks to maintain efficient workflow.
- **Inventory control**: Managing food inventory, ordering supplies, and monitoring food costs.
- **Quality control**: Ensuring all dishes meet quality standards regarding taste, presentation, and sanitation.
- **Kitchen sanitation**: Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
- **Cost control**: Monitoring food costs and identifying areas for cost reduction.
- **Special events**: Assisting with the planning and execution of special catering events.

Required skills for a sous chef:

- **Strong culinary skills**: Extensive knowledge of cooking techniques, different cuisines, and flavor profiles.
- **Leadership abilities**: Effectively managing and motivating a kitchen team.
- **Communication skills**: Clear communication with both kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.
- **Problem-solving skills**: Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in the kitchen
- **Attention to detail**: Ensuring consistency and high standards in food preparation.
- **Ability to work under pressure**: Maintaining composure in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Pay: ₹18,377.76 - ₹40,000.00 per month
