**JOB DESCRIPTION**
In this role, you will own the product marketing of our Moodle and WordPress-related products vertical. You will be directly responsible for ensuring a steady inflow of high-quality traffic into our product funnel. You will work closely with the Product Management and delivery team to understand business goals for the quarter and use that to build and execute the marketing plan.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute product marketing plans aligning with the company's objectives.
- Develop product update launch plans and go-to-market strategies that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth
- Create and manage product collateral, including sales presentations, product sheets, and case studies.
- Analyze and report on the performance of product marketing campaigns, using data to make data-driven decisions and optimize campaigns.
- Conduct market research to gain insights into customer needs, preferences, and trends, and use this information to evolve marketing strategies.
- Develop a deep understanding of our offerings and the customer problems that they solve.
- Ace your product expertise: Come up with hypotheses and run experiments, conduct user interviews, analyze product data, and talk to our existing and potential users regularly to deeply understand and validate their needs and expectations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams - including product development, and design - to hypothesize, validate, develop, and launch new products and features.
- Create persuasive product messaging and positioning that resonates with our target audience and differentiates our products from competitors.
**EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
**Non-negotiable attributes required**:
- “Customer-led” mindset when thinking about technology
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (clear and concise)
- Extremely hands-on, self-driven with a strong bias for action
- Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment
**Ideal Profile**:
- 2+ years of experience in product marketing/management, preferably in the software or IT industry.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Moodle and its ecosystem is an additional benefit.
- Strong understanding of customer pain points, funnel building, and product marketing.
- Highly analytical with good quantitative and research skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
- Capable of taking complete product ownership, needing minimum guidance and oversight.
- Experience developing and executing successful product marketing plans and campaigns.
