Position Overview:
As a Retail Apparels Trainer, you will play a vital role in training and developing the sales staff in a retail environment. Your primary responsibility will be to equip retail associates with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide exceptional customer service and maximize sales in the apparel department. You will design and deliver training programs, conduct workshops, and provide ongoing coaching to enhance the overall performance and product knowledge of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development:
- Collaborate with the training team and management to identify training needs and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the retail apparels department.
- Create engaging training materials, including presentations, handouts, videos, and e-learning modules.
- Incorporate product knowledge, selling techniques, customer service skills, visual merchandising, and company policies and procedures into training programs.
- Training Delivery and Facilitation:
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for retail associates, both in group settings and through one-on-one coaching.
- Deliver training sessions that cover topics such as product features, fabric composition, fit and sizing, styling tips, fashion trends, and accessories.
- Provide guidance on sales techniques, customer engagement, objection handling, and upselling strategies to improve sales performance.
- Performance Evaluation and Feedback:
- Assess the progress and skill development of retail associates through role-playing exercises, observations, and knowledge assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to individuals and the team to address areas of improvement and enhance their selling abilities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
- Product Knowledge and Industry Awareness:
- Stay up to date with the latest fashion trends, apparel brands, and industry developments to provide accurate and relevant information to retail associates.
- Conduct regular research and share knowledge about new product launches, materials, and technologies related to the apparel industry.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Liaise with store managers, department supervisors, and other stakeholders to align training programs with organizational goals and strategies.
- Foster a collaborative and positive learning environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing among retail associates.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the apparel sector.
- Excellent knowledge of fashion trends, clothing brands, and fabric composition.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
- Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Analytical mindset to assess training needs and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to multitask and manage priorities.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital training tools is a plus.
- Certification in training and development or a related field is desirable.
**Salary**: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year

- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
