**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, video tutorials, and other training resources to support product usage and adoption
- Create and incorporate graphics, audio, video, and interactive elements to enhance learning experiences
- Develop clear learning objectives and design content to achieve learning objectives
- Ensure all instructional content is clear, engaging, and aligned with instructional design best practices, design styles/system and language guidelines
- Work closely with Product Managers, SMEs, Technical Writers and other stakeholders to gather detailed information about product features and user needs
- Sync with Business Analyst on data usage of problem areas and devise a course of action to help assist users with new training courses
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and determine the best instructional methods to address them
- Review and test instructional materials to ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with product features and gather feedback for continuous improvement
- Measure the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and user feedback
- Stays abreast of industry trends and best practice for instructional design
**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field
- Certification in instructional design or related fields (e.g., CPLP, CIDD) preferred but not mandatory
- Two (2) + years of instructional design experience
- Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning
- Experience with Healthcare is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience with Agile development is preferred but not mandatory
**Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities**
- Proficiency in instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy)
- Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and how to design inclusive instructional materials
- Expertise in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360 Suite, Camtasia)
- Ability to use multimedia tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) is preferred
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and personal organization skills
**Work Environment/Physical Demands**
- While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday
- This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of the workday
- This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as in-coming and out-going communications via the computer and/or mobile devices
- The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates
