We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Data Administration Officer**

**Principal responsibilities**
- Support data analysts by liaising with both the franchised advisers and third party ceding schemes as appropriate to enable cases to be actively progressed.
- To support the production of accurate and timely MI to meet the requirements of the Centre, Senior Management and other related business areas. This will be achieved by updating management systems with details of the reviews, daily monitoring and completion of MI databases and the identification of any wider issues.
- Sharing best practice and providing guidance to colleagues within the centre to aid their development and competency, providing technical assistance to other departments and individuals within Retail Banking and Wealth Management.
- Day to day enquiries are handled in an attentive manner and are resolved to the satisfaction of the enquirer.
- Produce and deliver accurate MI reports to support operational controls within the department and respond to adhoc requests, as they arise.
- Provide administrative support in the production of the pension transfer and at retirement advice reports in accordance with Compliance regulations.
- Produce accurate and timely MI to meet the requirements of the Centre, Senior Management and other related business areas. Updating Management Systems with details of the reviews.
- The jobholder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of customer’s needs, Pension sales process, advice suitability and the regulatory environment alongside experience of providing advice or para-planning involving writing customer facing reports.
- Flexible & pragmatic with a keen eye for detail with a desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered HSBC customers.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
- Demonstrate adherence to internal controls, illustrated by adherence to all relevant procedures and keeping appropriate records.
- The job-holder will not be expected to directly manage any customer relationships or have any direct reports.
- Experience in the collation of Management Information reports and systems
