**Job Summary**

The position is responsible for supporting the Director -Direct2Farmer (Vertical-2) and support in managing and coordinating with the Heads of Resource Institutes (RI) or Farmer Organizations (FO) under RIs. The incumbent will be required to manage on a daily basis with the Data Officers placed in these RIs. The incumbent will be responsible for assessing the needs and gap analysis of these farmer organizations. S/he should be able to train data officers on implementing DGs digital tools and actualize the digitization of FOs, and support in developing partnerships and tracking program progress.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **
Program Support**
- Responsible for implementing the program plans and supervising and supporting the Data Officer at Resource Institutes ensuring that the program design is implemented appropriately at the field level.
- To support the Vertical Director in the day-to-day management of the Resource Institutes and pilot FOs.
- Preparing and sharing the checklist and trackers for input and output data for the FPOs and working with the Data Officer in information gathering.
- Work with the program/pilot and cross-functional team and follow-ups for ensuring its implementation within the estimated timeframe.
- Organize and support meetings including management of all logístical activities related to the in-person meeting and virtual meetings.
- Support the Vertical team in organizing FPO meetings, buyer-seller meetings, and mobilization in selected geographies.
- Support the Vertical Director and program team in maintaining effective relationships with partner agencies, Agtech partners, NGO partners, and FPOs.
- Provide regular program updates to the Vertical Director & State Head, proactively highlight bottlenecks, and seek support for the resolution.
- To prepare consolidated RI reports in a timely manner and submit them to Vertical Director for onward review and comments.
- ** Training and monitoring**
- Support the Vertical Director in providing training sessions to the Board of Directors of FOs, and Head of RIs, and Community Resource Persons with Government agencies, Agriculture experts, and other industry experts.
- Monitoring of FOs and RIs functioning in close coordination with the Data Officer under the guidance of the Director Vertical.
- Supporting the Data Officer in gaining knowledge of using different digital tools that are being implemented in the field.
- ** Developing Partnerships**
- Assist the Vertical Director in identifying industry trends, and pursuing strategic partnerships, especially with Value Chain agents, markets for farmer produce, and input agencies, and support in the scale-up of DG’s D2FO (Direct to Farmer Organisation) in the eastern region (Odisha, Jharkhand)
- To liaise effectively with the internal and external stakeholders to support program/pilot deliverables.
- To support donor visits and accompany the donor/external stakeholders on these visits, if required.
- ** Communications**
- Ensure smooth coordination with Communications, Technology, Program and Admin teams to ensure timely and relevant messaging that aligns with strategic objectives and implementation plans.
- Support the communications team in the preparation of promotional materials, program summaries, and reports as required.
- ** Documentation & Record keeping**
- Responsible for keeping a record of all reports, trackers, briefings, information sheets, and minutes of meetings led by the Resource Institutes and FOs
- Supporting the Vertical Director in raising ERP requests for the program/pilot-related work orders etc. and ensuring its submission and processing.
- To ensure comprehensive documentation of all activities pertaining to program and pilot implementation, strategic partnerships, and a proper record-keeping of all program related documents, including documents related to grant management, and reports.
- Share the progress of ongoing activities of the projects and pilot and future plans in line with the DG strategy.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor/Master/Management in Agri/allied/social work or a related field
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in working closely with FPO will be given preference
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships, collaborate with individuals in a culturally diverse setting and build consensus
- Superior writing ability with experience in RFP/proposal and/or report writing preferred
- Strong oral communication, advocacy, and networking skills
- Ability to multi-task while still maintaining a strong sense of focus
- Demonstrated managerial experience and leadership ability
- Highly responsive in approach to help address program needs
