This role involves menu development, inventory management, and upholding strict health and safety regulations. The head pastry chef also trains and mentors junior staff, and may be involved in customer interactions for custom desserts. Key Responsibilities:

- **Menu Development and Creation**:Developing new recipes, creating seasonal menus, and designing custom-made desserts.
- **Supervision and Training**:Overseeing the pastry team, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, and mentoring junior chefs.
- **Production and Quality Control**:Managing the production of baked goods, ensuring consistent quality and presentation, and maintaining inventory of ingredients and supplies.
- **Financial Management**:Managing costs, pricing menus, and controlling expenses within budgetary guidelines.
- **Customer Interaction**:May be involved in meeting with clients to discuss custom orders for special occasions.
- **Collaboration**:Working with the head chef and other kitchen staff to ensure desserts complement the overall menu.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in pastry or baking roles.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles and baking techniques.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to train and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification (preferred).

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
