Job Title: Hotel Receptionist / Front Office Executive
**Job Summary**: The hotel receptionist is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and providing information and assistance to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. This role involves strong communication skills, customer service, and attention to detail.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Guest Check-in/Check-out**: Greet guests upon arrival, verify reservation details, assign rooms, and provide key cards. Process check-out procedures and collect payments.
- **Customer Service**: Address guest requests, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
- **Billing & Payments**: Process payments, generate invoices, and ensure accuracy in billing. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and any other financial transactions.
- **Administrative Duties**: Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Keep guest records, update reservation systems, and manage room availability.
- **Communication**: Relay important messages to guests, communicate with housekeeping and maintenance departments regarding guest needs.
- **Security and Safety**: Ensure the safety and security of guests by monitoring access to hotel rooms and maintaining proper records for security purposes.
- **Guest Services**: Assist with special requests such as booking tours, arranging transportation, or providing information on local events and dining options.
Skills and Qualifications:
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Customer Service**: Strong ability to deal with guests and handle any situations with professionalism.
- **Organization**: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- **Attention to Detail**: Accuracy in managing reservations, payments, and guest requests.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- **Computer Skills**: Proficient in hotel management software and basic office programs (Word, Excel).
- **Experience**: Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or reception is preferred, but not required
