**Key Responsibilities of a Restaurant Captain**:
1. **Guest Interaction & Service**
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they are comfortable.
- Take food and beverage orders, often for VIP guests or special tables.
- Offer recommendations and describe menu items, including daily specials.
- Ensure proper food presentation and timely service.

2. **Team Supervision**
- Supervise waiters, runners, and busboys.
- Assign sections and duties to staff.
- Train new team members and ensure service standards are upheld.

3. **Coordination & Communication**
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Communicate guest preferences, allergies, and special requests.

4. **Quality Control**
- Check table settings, cleanliness, and overall dining area appearance.
- Address and resolve any guest complaints or service issues promptly.

5. **Upselling & Revenue Generation**
- Promote high-margin dishes and beverages to maximize sales.
- Suggest add-ons like desserts, wine pairings, or side dishes.

6. **Reporting & Documentation**
- Maintain service records and reports if required by management.
- Provide feedback to management on staff performance and guest feedback.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
