We are hiring for DGM - Transport Operations

Location : Chickpet, Bengaluru

Experience : 10+ years

Salary : Upto 18 Lakhs per annum

Formulate and execute transportation strategies that ensure the efficient and cost-effective

movement of goods and materials.

Oversee transportation budgets and expenses, including negotiating contracts with

carriers and vendors to secure competitive rates.

Supervise the scheduling and routing of shipments to guarantee timely delivery

Work closely with internal department to Coordinate transportation

Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations governing transportation

operations, including safety regulations and licensing requirements.

Foster and maintain relationships with carriers and vendors to ensure reliable and cost
- effective transportation services.

Monitor and evaluate transportation performance metrics, including on-time delivery,

transportation costs, and carrier performance, to identify areas for improvement and

implement corrective actions.

Lead, manage, and develop a team of transportation professionals through hiring,

training, and performance management.

Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in transportation management

technology to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Address any transportation-related issues

Skills and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, logistics operations, and industry best

practices.

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal

stakeholders, carriers, and vendors.

Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software
