Business Development Manager • Generate leads through existing andnew contacts for business in the field of FTL & LTL byapproaching new clients• Daily Sales calls visit customers • Focus on winning and maintaining aprofitable business. • To develop and maintain a goodrelationship with the client. • Develop a system for strong paymentfollow -up and should be able to take responsibility for outstanding Operations Manager The Operations Manager for logisticsoperations is responsible for overseeing and managing the dispatches andacknowledgement -receiving processes of a company. As an individual player, theOperations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring efficient and effectivelogistics operations. This includes coordinating with various stakeholders,managing transportation activities, and maintaining strong connections withinthe transportation industry. The Operations Manager will work closelywith the logistics team and other departments to ensure smooth and timelydelivery of goods or services. You will play a crucial role inmaintaining smooth operations while booking vehicles and fostering strongrelationships on behalf of EZ Logistics with local transport partners.Design and implement solutions thataddress the distribution and warehousing needs of our customers RequirementsThe Operations Manager has the end -to -end responsibility forFirst & Mid Mile deliveries on all these aspects as per the internal normsof the company 1. Dispatch Management: Strategicallyplan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services andexecute dispatch schedules to ensure timely delivery of products or services.Monitor the movement of goods, track shipments, consider factors such asvehicle capacity, delivery routes, and timeliness and address any delays orissues. Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and transporters tooptimize logistics operations. 2.Acknowledgement Receiving: Keeptrack of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs andefficiency, Oversee the acknowledgement receiving process to confirm successfuldelivery and receipt of goods or services. Resolve any discrepancies or issuesrelated to delivery acknowledgements. 3. Local Transport Network:Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments, utilizeyour existing connections and experience in the logistics space to establishand maintain relationships with local transport partners, including carriers,warehouse and logistics service providers Leverage these connections to ensurereliable and cost -effective transportation services. 4. Communication and Negotiation:Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with transport partners, vendors, Warehouse owners' suppliers, manufacturers,retailers, consumers and internal stakeholders. Collaborate closely with allteams to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of goods. 5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:Implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measurethe effectiveness and efficiency of logistics operations. Monitor and analyzelogistics data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.Generate regular reports and provide insights to management on logisticsperformance. 6. Supervise, coach and train warehouseworkforce: Collaborate with cross -functionalteams, including the Sales and Marketing team, warehouse, and customer service,to ensure seamless coordination and integration of logistics activities.Provide guidance and support to the logistics team, including training,performance evaluation, and coaching. 7: Comply with laws, regulations and ISOrequirements: Ensure compliance in huboperations and logistics in all areas, execute plans for ensuring theavailability of adequate fleet and/or building the fleet and infrastructure tomeet the supply -demand. 8: Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff: Manage the onboarding and training activities forsupervisors and Delivery Executives and ensure that they follow the requiredguidelines while performing different tasks. 9: Ability to work independently and handle multipleprojects Ensure promptresponses to queries /concerns raised by the Delivery Executives therebyclearing doubts/ apprehensions if any. As an Operations Manager, you will beresponsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company's day -to -dayoperations, including logistics, supply chain, and fulfillment center. You will also be responsible formanaging the company's Last Mile Operations, which includes the final deliveryof goods to customers. Key Responsibilities: Ø Ensure100% on -time vehicle placement for the First mile, Mid Mile & last milelogistics with track day -to -day operation. Ø Collaborating with dispatchers and routeplanners to ensure that delivery routes are optimized for efficiency. Ø Managing delivery personnel, includingdrivers and loaders, to ensure that they are meeting delivery timelinesand customer service expectations. ØOverseeing the maintenance and repair ofdelivery vehicles and ensuring that they are compliant with safetyregulations. Ø Developing and implementing strategiesfor reducing delivery times and improving customer satisfaction. Ø Monitoring delivery performance metricsand identifying areas for improvement. Ø Analyzing delivery data to identifytrends and patterns and developing strategies to address any issues. Ø Managing relationships with third -partydelivery providers, such as Transporter/vendor and warehousing companies. Ø Abilityto negotiate the cost from the vendor/transporter. Ø Onboarda large vendor base, who can provide Ad -hoc as well Fix vehicles. Ø Theperson should be responsible for daily MIS reports. What you will do everyday: · On -board Trucks ranging from 0.5 tonto 40 Ton Trucks and shared warehouse space from sq. feet and companywarehouse space from sq. feet ·On Board delivery partners for lastmile service from wheeler, EV trucks. Ensure that they are well -trained,process -driven and customer -centric On -Boarding new customers for FTL, LTLBusiness for the company through approaching new clients. · Ensure delivery of SLAs promised tothe customer · Restore operations to normalcy whenthings break · Hire, coach and mentor a team ofSupervisors Local Travel: The position is based atHome Location and requires you to be on the field for 26 days in a month Bewilling to travel locally up to 250 km from your home location as required tooversee transportation operations and build relationships with transport,warehouse partners and vendors. Language skills - Two or more languages -Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi will be preferred and fluency inthe local language, with proficiency in English & Hindi as a Mandatory. Qualifications and Skills: 1) Prior experience in logistics,e -commerce, B2B, and D2C industry, with a focus on transportation and supplychain management. 2) Familiaritywith the local logistics landscape, including knowledge of key transportpartners and their capabilities. 3) Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word fordata management,analysis andreporting. 4) Excellent communication and negotiationskills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. 5) Highlevel of ownership & commitment to maintaining data confidentiality, Strongorganizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in afast -paced environment.6) Flexibilityand adaptability to handle changing priorities and operational requirements. 7) Shouldbe well versed with the demographics of the region & Willingness to travelbetween different cities. BenefitsJob Type: Full -time Salary: Rs. 27,000 / - per Month + travellingallowance of Rs. 3,000/ - per month. For the first six months Based on the performance salary will be Incentives every quarter: Rs 10,000 -50,000 based on the targetachievement.
