The/Nudge is an action institute working towards a poverty-free India, within our lifetime. We partner with governments, markets, and civil society to build resilient livelihoods for all. We are a collective of some of India’s best leaders and entrepreneurs from across the industry, academia, government, and development sectors and our work is organized across three impact streams:
Centre for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (CSDE): exists to enable urban households to live a dignified life out of poverty-
- Centre for Rural Development (CRD): exists to enable families to come out of extreme poverty-
- Centre for Social Innovation (CSI): exists to build a thriving livelihoods ecosystem**About the role**

This role is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a new intrapreneurial venture focused on helping urban street vendors grow their business and live a dignified life out of poverty. Come build for millions of Indians while working with leaders and entrepreneurs working towards a poverty-free India.

In this role, you will:
Be part of a small team that will go on a 0 to 1 journey together-
- Build and prioritize hypotheses and design small-scale experiments to test and refine these hypotheses-
- Execute experiments working with users on field-
- Measure success of these experiments through designing metrics, data collection, and analysis-
- Own the secondary research beyond experiments to answer key program strategy and design questions-
- Engage with potential partner organizations for research and solution design (non-profit/for-profit/government)-
- Contribute to team brainstorming sessions for product decision-making and roadmap by providing quantitative/qualitative data analysis and insights-
- Be the early team member who goes beyond job descriptions-
2-4 years of work experience in field research (qualitative and quantitative), program design and implementation-
- ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment (bias for action, get things done, willingness to work hard, learn new things fast, figure things out on your own)-
- passion and hunger for solving big social problems at scale using technology-
- energy, excitement, and empathy for working directly with users on the field-
- ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds including from underprivileged background-
- strong analytical and research skills, attention to detail, and love for problem-solving-
- strong verbal and written communication skills-
- comfort with high level of ambiguity and fluid roles and responsibilities-
