Job Description: Cafe Chef

Job Location: Nashik

**Salary**: 25,000 - 30,000

Experience: 4 - 5 years

Min 3 years experience in a cafe as chef

Education: Higher Education or relevant

**Profile Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in a cafe or similar establishment.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and innovation in menu planning and dish preparation.

**Profile Responsibilities**:
Menu Planning:

- Develop and update the cafe menu, considering customer preferences, seasonal ingredients, and cost-effectiveness.
- Introduce new and innovative dishes to keep the menu fresh and exciting.

Food Preparation and Cooking:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring that presentation and taste meet high-quality standards.
- Monitor portion control and maintain consistency in food quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.

Kitchen Management:

- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including staff management, scheduling, and training.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability.

Quality Control:

- Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished dishes to ensure consistency.
- Implement and enforce food safety protocols and standards.

Customer Interaction:

- Interact with customers to gather feedback and address any concerns regarding the food.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Creativity and Innovation:

- Stay updated on food trends and incorporate innovative ideas into the menu.
- Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the cafe's culinary offerings.

Budget Management:

- Work within budget constraints while maintaining food quality and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and control expenses related to food and kitchen operations.
