**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Juice & Shake Preparation**: Prepare a wide range of fresh juices, smoothies, and shakes, ensuring they are made to order with high-quality ingredients.
- **Noodle Dishes**: Cook basic noodle dishes, such as stir-fried noodles, noodle soups, and other simple yet tasty meals, following the cafe’s recipes.
- **Menu Development**: Collaborate with the Cafe Manager to create and update the menu, introducing new juice combinations, shakes, and light meals that align with the cafe’s theme and customer preferences.
- **Food & Beverage Quality**: Maintain the highest standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and taste in all offerings.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure all items are fresh and available.
- **Hygiene & Safety**: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring the kitchen and preparation areas are clean, sanitized, and organized.
- **Customer Service**: Interact with customers when needed, taking special orders or requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the food and beverages served.
- **Training & Mentorship**: Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring they understand the cafe’s standards and can assist in food and beverage preparation.
- **Time Management**: Efficiently manage time to prepare orders promptly, especially during peak hours, while maintaining the quality of each dish.
- **Cost Control**: Monitor portion sizes and waste to help control food costs while delivering consistent products.
- **Feedback Implementation**: Actively seek and implement customer feedback to improve the menu and service quality.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cafe or similar food service environment, with a focus on juice, shake, and light meal preparation.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in making a variety of juices, shakes, and basic noodle dishes.
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Creativity in developing new recipes and improving existing ones.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and cost control.
- **Education**: Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

**Personal Attributes**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and efficient demeanor.

**Work Environment**:

- The role will be based at Aves Art Cafe, Vashi, in a dynamic and creative atmosphere that combines food, art, and community engagement.
- The cafe offers a supportive environment where creativity in food preparation is encouraged and appreciated.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 66 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Morning shift
