Company: A leading manufacturer of chemicals based in Chennai, this is a Limited company operating over 30 years has a rich legacy of innovation and excellence in the chemical and related product manufacturing sector.

Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) with a proven track record in the manufacturing sector is must.

**Salary**: Negotiable, commensurate with experience

Reporting to: Board of Directors

**Responsibilities**:
1. Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with the company's goals and objectives. Provide strategic guidance to the executive team and the Board of Directors on financial matters.

2. Financial Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation of financial reports, statements, and forecasts. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including IFRS standards, and liaise with external auditors as necessary.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and regularly monitor performance against budgeted targets. Provide analysis and insights to support decision-making and optimize financial performance.

4. Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure the financial health and stability of the company. Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and mitigate financial risks.

5. Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks facing the company, and develop strategies to manage and mitigate these risks. Implement robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

6. Capital Management: Evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation decisions to maximize shareholder value. Manage capital structure and financing arrangements to support business growth and expansion initiatives.

7. Treasury Operations: Oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships, debt management, and foreign exchange risk management. Optimize cash and liquidity management to support operational needs and strategic objectives.

8. Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive business growth and expansion. Build strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, and other key stakeholders to support financing and capital raising activities.

9. International Experience: Bring international experience and perspectives to the role, particularly in managing finance operations across different geographies and jurisdictions. Navigate complex regulatory environments and cultural dynamics to support global business initiatives.

10. Leadership and Team Development: Provide strong leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Develop talent within the team and mentor junior staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience in a senior finance role within the manufacturing sector.
- **Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other relevant accounting standards.**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and a focus on long-term value creation.
- **Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict NDA agreements.**
- Expected to be on board in 1-2 months.
