Logistics Associate

The Logistics Associate is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics activities, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods. This role involves managing inventory, preparing shipping documentation, handling transportation logistics, and liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure the smooth flow of operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock.
- Coordinate with warehouses to ensure timely restocking and accurate record-keeping.
- Track goods from suppliers to the final destination and update inventory management systems.
- **Order Processing**:

- Process incoming orders and ensure they are filled accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper documentation for orders, including shipping instructions, invoices, and customs paperwork where necessary.
- Coordinate order fulfillment with internal teams and third-party logistics partners.
- **Shipping & Distribution**:

- Schedule and track shipments to ensure goods are delivered on time.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and third-party vendors for timely deliveries.
- Track and resolve any shipping delays or issues with the customer or logistics partners.
- **Customer Service**:

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to logistics.
- Ensure the timely communication of any delays, issues, or discrepancies to customers.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipping and inventory transactions.
- Prepare and analyze regular logistics reports on inventory levels, delivery schedules, and shipment tracking.
- **Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to logistics, such as customs and transportation rules.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards in logistics operations.
- **Problem-Solving**:

- Address and resolve any logístical issues such as delays, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies.
- Proactively suggest improvements to streamline logistics processes and reduce costs.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management is preferred.
- Experience with logistics software and inventory management systems is an advantage.
- **Skills**:

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and logistics management software.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift or move light to moderate objects.
- Ability to work in a warehouse or office setting, sometimes in a fast-paced or physically demanding environment.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Performance bonus
- Quarterly bonus
