**Job Title**: Indian Commis 2 & 3 ( Accommodation Provided)

**Reports to**: Chef de Partie / Sous Chef / Executive Chef

**JJob Summary**:
We are seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join our Indian cuisine kitchen team as **Commis II** and **Commis III**. These positions support the preparation and cooking of authentic Indian dishes under the guidance of senior chefs, ensuring the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and consistency.
- **Commis III** is an entry-level role focused on basic food prep and support tasks.
- **Commis II** is a mid-level role with more responsibility in cooking and station management.

**Key Responsibilities:For Both Roles (Commis II & III)**:

- Assist with the preparation and cooking of Indian dishes including curries, tandoori items, and regional specialties.
- Follow food safety standards, recipes, and portion sizes accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and prep areas.
- Label, store, and rotate all ingredients and products properly.
- Support daily kitchen operations, including mise en place and inventory checks.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.

**Additional Responsibilities for Commis II**:

- Independently handle a section of the kitchen when required.
- Supervise and guide Commis III and kitchen helpers.
- Prepare more complex dishes or components under mínimal supervision.
- Assist in daily briefings and contribute ideas for menu development.

**Qualifications & Experience:For Commis III**:

- Culinary diploma or relevant certificate preferred.
- 0-1 year of kitchen experience (freshers with strong passion will be considered).
- Basic knowledge of Indian ingredients and cooking techniques.

**For Commis II**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in an Indian kitchen.
- Solid understanding of Indian spices, cooking processes, and dish presentation.
- Ability to work independently and lead junior staff when required.

- Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- High standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen brigade.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and carrying kitchen items (up to 25kg).
- Comfortable working in hot and fast-paced environments.
