The Senior Executive - Events will be responsible for executing successful events that align with the company’s overall strategy and brand image. We are looking for a competent events manager to strategize, plan, organize, and oversee events for the startup community that will make an impact on the target audience. He/She will ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints. **Key Deliverables**: - Plan, execute and manage events for our coworking spaces including networking events, workshops, seminars and other business events. - Develop and implement event strategies that align with our brand and business objectives. - Manage event budgets, timelines and vendor relationships. - Work with the marketing team to develop event marketing plans and drive event attendance. - Collaborate with the sales team to drive event revenue and identify new business opportunities. - Ensure that all events are executed seamlessly and in line with our brand standards. - Track event metrics and provide regular reports to the management team. - Continuously explore new event formats and ideas to keep our events fresh and relevant. - Maintains or exceeds budgeted sales and profits in all event areas. - Recommends, develops, and implements effective marketing plans for generating event revenues. - Evaluates each piece of event business to ensure business can be properly serviced. - Assembles creative and innovative event attractions based on internal capabilities or outsources to qualified vendors. - Trains, supervises, and works with event staff, to solicit and book banquet and catering functions, as well as the planning, merchandising and execution of the functions. - Leads event teams to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. - Administers all phases of the event department, including but not limited to sales, planning, marketing, servicing, and administrative procedures. - Coaches and counsels employees to reflect company service standards and procedures **Key Competencies**: - Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning and execution. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. - Experience in driving event attendance and revenue through effective marketing and sales strategies. - Knowledge of event management software and tools. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Passion for events and a willingness to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional experiences for our clients and attendees. - Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills - Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel **Employee Benefits**: - BHIVE has a very strong employee benefits policy including an employee-friendly ESOP policy in place.
