Marketing Executive, Acquisition

**Introduction**:
A keen customer and data champion, this person will leverage customer insight to improve conversions on Economist Intelligence’s various digital properties through continuous testing and optimisation.
**Accountabilities**:
- Run pay-per-click (PPC) and paid social campaigns to boost lead acquisition and nurturing.
- Work closely with agencies to improve delivery and performance with a particular focus on paid media.
- Ensure all channels meet monthly KPI targets across all regions and provide performance analysis, working closely with the Data and Insights team to create new reports that provide in-depth analysis.
- Help to define and manage the test and learn roadmap, leveraging customer insights to develop hypotheses for improving personalisation and A/B testing campaigns.
- Brief and ensure correct creative, landing pages, UTM coding and messaging is used in key campaigns
- Create and maintain key landing pages and campaigns on Economist Intelligence’s websites, promoting best practice in the team.
- Implement an effective retargeting strategy to boost consideration and conversion.
- Support the Head of Acquisition in new digital initiatives and launches including social media management.
- Show a keen understanding of brand marketing and work with campaign marketers to ensure consistency and quality in Economist Intelligence’s output.
**Experience, skills and professional attributes**:
**To succeed in the role you must have**:
- Detailed understanding and experience of paid media (both social and search)
- Relevant experience in B2B marketing with a focus on lead acquisition and nurturing
- Content production experience, including implementation and optimisation using a CMS
- Ability to analyse and interpret data and analytics
- Understanding of attribution modelling and cross device targeting
- Experience of working with agencies to campaign budgets
- Experience of using Google Analytics, Linkedin and WordPress
