**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Community Engagement**: Build and maintain relationships with community members and stakeholders in the Kerala South region, promoting participation in community-driven initiatives.
- **Field Coordination & Implementation**: Oversee and coordinate field activities related to community development programs, ensuring effective implementation and monitoring of projects.
- **Emergency Response**: Lead and manage emergency response efforts in the region, coordinating relief efforts, resources, and support for affected communities.
- **Advocacy & Awareness**: Advocate for community issues, raise awareness about social and environmental challenges, and mobilize communities to participate in solutions.
- **Program Monitoring & Evaluation**: Ensure that all programs and projects are on track and meet their goals. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of activities and report on outcomes.
- **Training & Capacity Building**: Organize training sessions for community members and local staff, building their capacity to implement community development initiatives independently.
- **Collaboration with Stakeholders**: Liaise with local government agencies, NGOs, community leaders, and other partners to facilitate collaboration and mobilize resources for ongoing projects.
- **Reporting & Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of activities, progress reports, and financial documentation. Prepare reports for senior management and donors.
- **Policy Development & Advocacy**: Assist in developing policies and advocacy strategies that will support the long-term goals of Thanal’s programs and initiatives in the region.
