Commis Chef

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes (e.g., stir-fries, dim sum, noodles, soups, dumplings).
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the senior chefs.
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and mise en place.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to hygiene and safety standards (HACCP).
- Store food in proper containers, ensuring proper labeling and rotation (FIFO method).
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely food service.
- Follow all kitchen policies and procedures.
**Education & Experience**:
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or relevant training.
- Commis I: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Chinese cuisine.
- Commis II: Minimum 1 year of experience or culinary training with practical exposure.
**Skills:Skills**:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Chinese cooking methods (wok, steaming, deep-frying, etc.).
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen team.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
