Introduction:

- The role incumbent is responsible for managing the regulatory deliverables across BUK portfolios. Role requires team management, project and stakeholder management. The team is responsible for Risk reporting to regulator, related projects, changes to reports, transitions from other teams on reg deliverables.
- The incumbent will interact with the wider RIS team, CRO teams, governance teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports/projects as well as ensure compliance to BCBS 239, IFRS 9.

What will you be doing?

Capital & Regulatory Risk Reporting (60%)
- Direct Data uploads, handle exceptions, prepare reports & dashboards for periodic reporting.
- Ensure robust capital reporting month end close process to provide timely and accurate reporting and supporting the team to achieve the same.
- Review & monitor for the preparation of adjustment and analysis produced by the capital reporting team.
- Own operation of controls and ensure that the controls are operating effectively at all time.
- Ensure reporting issues are reported and resolved on a timely basis by supporting the team both from functional and technical standpoint.
- Help ensure regular delivery of PRA/FCA prescribed credit risk templates to agreed stakeholders.
- Adhere to completeness, accuracy and timeliness principles of Risk Data Aggregation and Reporting.
- Optimal mix of automation and portfolio insights so as to ensure that Risk Information is consistent, accurate and actionable.
- Provide accurate Risk Information in compliance with Group and regulatory requirements
- Execution of key strategic and regulatory projects primarily ERRP, BCBS239 and IFRS9
- Understand portfolio requirements and contribute to enhanced risk analysis through independent interaction and collaboration with the stakeholders
- Implement key internal Projects to support portfolio and overall RIS requirements
- Carry out investigations, reconciliations and analysis to explain trends, outliers, peaks and troughs demonstrating high data and information quality

Improving Internal Processes/ Quality (20%)
- Doing detailed impact analysis to identify the swap in swap out population with the ring fencing of the bank
- Accuracy of reporting while connecting reporting to the authoritative data sources and identifying correct flags on the data for identification
- Lead Initiatives to improve and automate processes to minimize errors and reduce effort

Management of Data (15%)
- Supporting the management, testing and governance of changes to authoritative data source for achieving the full compliance
- Assist in creating structure for analytics data mart basis for BCBS239 compliance
- Data quality management and monitoring Supporting testing and development of Barclays Bureau, BIW2.0 and QlikView & Actuate based Reporting utilities

Governance and Control (5%)
- Comply with the RIS governance framework, change management requirements, EUDA and process review requirements and BCBS239 compensating control requirements.
- Ensure stakeholders are engaged and sign-off all relevant documents
