**IT Manager Job Description**:
**Directing and controlling the development, implementation and maintenance of the Company’s information and communication strategy in support of the company’s mission and core objectives, which includes;**
**Software**
- Ensuring that the project is being managed in accordance with the chosen project management methodology or agreed processes and procedures with regard to:
- Project planning
- Project control
- Project reporting
- Project documentation including maintenance of appropriate review documentation and audit trails.
- Project quality plan including projects and risk reviews
- Risk analysis and risk management
- Change control
2. Providing a company-wide source of expertise on information technology and communications to ensure that managers and staff have the best possible information for effective decision-making and accessing data.
4. Overseeing the management of all data and information flows within the company to ensure that comprehensive and accurate management information is available as required.
5. Monitoring the implementation of IT projects to ensure that all targets are reached and that the overall project is completed in accordance with agreed timescales and costs.
6. Conducting post project evaluations to ensure that systems implemented are operating effectively and providing the services required by users.
7. Developing and maintaing the information systems budget to ensure that expenditure is accurately forecasted and kept within agreed limits.
8. Helping to define IT training needs and provide training as required ensuring the most effective use of computer systems.
9. Identifying areas in which the introduction of new technology will improve business performance and assist mangers with the implementation of any new systems.
10. Maintaining an awareness of new developments in information technology and ensure that the company makes the best use of any such developments.
11. Ensuring effective training in new systems to users and mangers to ensure that they make the optimum use of these systems.
12. Introducing all necessary security measures to ensure that data systems are secure from data moss or misuse.
13. Providing technical leadership in the design and development of software, which meets customer’s requirements.
14. Ensuring an effective communication process with users, line managers, third party suppliers and team members.
**Management of Hardware Team.**
- Being the second level of contact point for all hardware \ network \ mailing \ internet related issues.
- Structured reports taken from the Hardware team head about the day to day activities of the team, Backup Reports, Implementation Documentations etc.
- Involved in Finalizing the planning of the Server ,desktops, Networking ,other computer peripherals & Software copies by the Manager -system administrator
- Involved in Finalizing of Policies set for the company with regards to:
- Internet
- Network
- Router
- Firewall
- Modem / Remote Access Server
- Disaster Recovery Policy
- IP Scanning
- LAN / WAN Analysis
**QUALIFICATION**:
**-**Basic academic Qualification BCA, BSC-IT, B. Tech, MCA.
- Proficient in functional accounting software, ERP, SQL Data Structure.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills**.**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
