**Job Summary**
The Kitchen Supervisor oversees kitchen staff, ensures food safety and hygiene standards, and coordinates meal preparation activities. They are responsible for maintaining a high standard of food quality, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing inventory to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Staff Supervision**:
- Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff, including cooks and dishwashers.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure tasks are completed on time and according to standard procedures.
- Foster a positive team environment, encouraging collaboration and problem-solving.
- **Food Preparation and Quality Control**:
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all menu items to ensure quality and consistency.
- Ensure all food is prepared following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in menu planning and recipe testing as needed.
- **Inventory and Cost Management**:
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure inventory is well-maintained and organized.
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste by ensuring proper portion control.
- Track inventory use and update records to keep within budget.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:
- Ensure kitchen compliance with food safety and health regulations, including regular cleaning and maintenance.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits of kitchen facilities.
- Address any issues immediately and report hazards to management.
- **Customer Satisfaction**:
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to maintain a smooth service flow.
- Handle customer complaints and requests professionally.
- Ensure any special dietary needs or allergy concerns are communicated to the kitchen team.
**Qualifications**
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years in a kitchen supervisory or chef role.
- **Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and compliance requirements.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
