Kitchen Supervisor

A Kitchen Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a kitchen, ensuring the staff maintains food safety standards, operational efficiency, and excellent customer service. This role involves coordinating activities, managing the kitchen team, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise Kitchen Operations
- Oversee food preparation and cooking to ensure quality and consistency.
- Enforce food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations.
- Monitor workstations to ensure efficiency and cleanliness.
2. Team Management
- Schedule shifts and assign tasks to kitchen staff.
- Train and mentor team members to meet performance expectations.
- Resolve staff issues and provide ongoing support to maintain a positive work environment.
3. Inventory and Cost Control
- Monitor inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Order ingredients and maintain accurate records of stock.
- Manage budgets, minimize waste, and control food costs.
4. Quality Assurance
- Inspect ingredients and prepared dishes to ensure quality standards.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for the kitchen.
- Address customer complaints or concerns related to food quality.
5. Health and Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain documentation for audits.
6. Collaboration with Management
- Work closely with restaurant or operations managers to align kitchen operations with business goals.
- Assist in menu development and pricing strategies.
Pay: From ₹16,500.00 per month
Schedule:
