**Who we are**: Athena Education is India's largest institution in the "premium undergraduate study abroad" space. Founded 9 years ago by two Princeton graduates, Poshak Agrawal and Rahul Subramaniam, Athena is headquartered in Gurgaon, with offices in Mumbai and Bangalore, and caters to students from 14 countries.
The program has shown incredible results with students being admitted to universities such as Harvard University, Princeton University, Yale University, Stanford University, University of Cambridge, MIT, Brown, Cornell University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Chicago - to name a few.

**Position Summary and Team Overview**:

- This is not your average cookie-cutter HR role - we are seeking a creative, analytical mind with a desire to broaden their horizons beyond the classic corporate HR portfolio._

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating a vision, strategy, and operational plan for Talent Development and Engagement at Athena Education
- Designing a competency framework that will allow the organization to anchor acquisition and development in key competencies that we believe the team ought to have at every level within the organization
- Setting a vision for and running the implementation of an approach to identifying high potential team members
- Articulating an approach to and overseeing the implementation of succession planning and progression activities
- Designing and implementing an effective program to upskill Vertical Heads and Senior Managers across the organization
- Supporting managers and team leaders in remedial measures when required
- Developing and Ensuring compliance with the organization's performance management framework and processes
- Working closely with the Directors and the People and Culture team to help facilitate the translation of design principles into implementation processes
- Support the team in Finding the best talent to achieve the organization's vision.

**Location & Work Environment**

The Vatika Triangle; Gurgaon, India
- We have built a creative space in a top corporate building in a prime location in Gurgaon.
- The office is on M.G. Road, a 2-minute walk from the M.G. Road Metro Station.

Our team comprises creative and colorful characters, all goal-oriented and hungry for growth (and healthy snacks). The work environment is formal and playful, as we all strive to get things done while sipping Italian coffee brewed in-house.
