**Job Description: Academic Counselor and Business Development Manager**

**Position Overview**:
As an Academic Counselor and Business Development Manager (BDM), you will play a pivotal role in guiding students towards achieving their academic and career goals while also contributing to the growth and development of the institution. This hybrid role requires a combination of counseling skills to provide personalized guidance to students and business development acumen to identify opportunities for institutional growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. **Academic Counseling**:

- Provide personalized academic counseling to students, understanding their educational background, interests, and career aspirations.
- Assess students' strengths, weaknesses, and academic performance to tailor counseling sessions and recommend appropriate courses or programs.
- Offer guidance on academic planning, course selection, and extracurricular activities to enhance students' overall learning experience.
- Assist students in resolving academic challenges, including study skills, time management, and stress management techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress to track their academic journey effectively.

**2. **Career Counseling**:

- Conduct career assessments and counseling sessions to help students explore career options aligned with their interests, skills, and goals.
- Provide information on employment trends, job market requirements, and industry-specific opportunities to support students in making informed career decisions.
- Offer resume writing assistance, interview preparation, and networking strategies to enhance students' employability and job search success.
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and career fairs to connect students with employers, alumni, and industry professionals for networking and mentorship opportunities.

**3. **Business Development**:

- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the institution's academic programs, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Research market trends, competitor offerings, and industry demands to develop strategic plans for business growth and market penetration.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, corporate organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to explore collaboration opportunities.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, and outreach activities to attract prospective students and increase enrollment.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to streamline enrollment processes and improve conversion rates from leads to enrolled students.

**4. **Performance Monitoring and Reporting**:

- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to student satisfaction, retention rates, enrollment numbers, and revenue generation.
- Analyze data and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of counseling initiatives, business development efforts, and marketing strategies.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance overall student experience and achieve organizational objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Business Administration, or related field
- Total Experience over 4 Yrs
- Proven experience in academic counseling, career counseling, or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Should have Experience in Institutional Visit.
- Ability to build rapport with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Knowledge of educational trends, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
