**Position Title: Electrician**

Department: Maintenance

Location: focal point Extension, Industrial Area, Jalandhar, Punjab

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor/Manager

**Job Summary**:
The Electrician at V.K. Valves is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in the manufacturing plant. This includes ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining operational efficiency for all electrical components associated with the valve production process.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Electrical Maintenance**:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in the production plant.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.

**Equipment Installation**:
Install wiring, conduit, electrical components, and control systems for new or modified machinery and production lines.

Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring proper wiring and electrical connections.

**Compliance and Safety**:
Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards, company policies, and local regulations.

Conduct regular safety checks on electrical systems and equipment.

Identify potential electrical hazards and take corrective action to prevent accidents.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and part replacements.

Prepare reports on electrical system performance, breakdowns, and solutions implemented.

Collaboration:
Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure that electrical systems support optimal production performance.

Assist other maintenance personnel when required.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and control systems.

Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.

**Preferred**:
Experience in valve manufacturing or related industries.

Knowledge of PLC systems and automation in industrial environment.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
