The Role

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and Architecture:

- Develop and maintain the architecture for Dell PowerFlex environments.
- Provide strategic input on system design and integration.
- Develop and maintain the architecture for VMware vSAN environments.
- Provide strategic guidance on system design and integration for VMware solutions.
- Deployment and Configuration:

- Lead the deployment and configuration of Dell PowerFlex systems.
- Lead the deployment and configuration of VMware vSAN clusters.
- Develop and document best practices for deployment and configuration.
- Management and Maintenance:

- Monitor and manage PowerFlex systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform regular maintenance, updates, and patches.
- Troubleshooting and Support:

- Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex issues related to PowerFlex.
- Collaborate with Dell support and other vendors to resolve issues.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex issues within the VMware environment.
- Collaborate with VMware support and other vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Training and Documentation:

- Create and deliver training for internal teams on PowerFlex systems.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of systems and procedures.
- Project Management:

- Lead and participate in projects related to PowerFlex implementation and upgrades.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Who You Are
- Education:

- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field..
- Experience:

- Total 10+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with Dell PowerFlex (formerly VxFlex).
- Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing PowerFlex systems.
- Technical Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of Dell PowerFlex architecture and components.
- Experience with software-defined storage (SDS) and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI).
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware with VSAN, Hyper-Vwith Storage space direct, etc.
- Strong understanding of networking, storage, and compute infrastructure.
- Soft Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications:

- Relevant Dell EMC certifications (e.g., Dell EMC Proven Professional) are highly desirable.
- Other IT certifications (e.g., VMware, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.
