**Job Summary**

We are seeking an Global Senior Infrastructure Engineer with 10 to 11 years of experience to join our team. who will be responsible for developing maintaining continuously improving and supporting our IT infrastructure including servers storage networks and telecoms systems.He / She will be providing expert infrastructure oversight ensuring successful delivery and performance of IT services for our clients and the fulfilment of our obligations and Service Level Targets

**Responsibilities**

Infrastructure Management through Backup Storage Linux Virtualization and Cloud administration/architecture

Designing and Implementing Storage and Backup solutions

Managing heterogenous SAN environments

Managing heterogenous NAS environments

Planning and execution of migration from Storage to Storage for both SAN and NAS

Planning and execution of migration from on prem to cloud

Performing scheduled/on-demand DR tests

Configuration and monitoring of fiber channel switches/fabric installation of storage arrays patches/upgrades firmware upgrades snapshots replication and backups standardization and implementation of storage to improve the management of production and test environments support users by resolving problems

Designing and deploying efficient Backup Infrastructure on-premises as well as on cloud using various products

Patching/upgrading backup infrastructure including clients

Designing and deploying cloud tiering solutions for long term retention backups

Performing scheduled/on-demand test restores

Working on Azure IAAS products (Compute Storage Backup Networking Management using Azure Monitor & Network Watcher Azure VMware Solution etc.) Azure Migrate Azure Site Recovery

Working on OCI IAAS products (Compute Storage Backup Networking Policies etc.) OCI Logging Monitoring and Observability

Working on Infrastructure as a Code using Terraform for Azure and OCI

Implementation & management of Oracle VM including OVS server deployment OVM manager deployment repository creation & management VLAN creation & management VM deployment & management migration of VMs from VMware to OVM

Installation & management of Linux servers including user/group management permission management file system management patching & upgrades network and security configuration package management process management services kernel parameters run levels boot process cron scheduler ssh configuration monitoring health check etc.

Performance tuning and enhancement of infrastructure components in scope

Troubleshooting high priority/escalated issues

Vendor coordination for break fix upgrades service review and best practices

Managing daily operations and team

Looking for cost optimizations

Preparing and demonstrating POC

Scripting repetitive/monotonous tasks using powershell/shell scripting/Ansible

Reporting

Capacity Planning and forecasting

Migrations

Troubleshooting
