Principal II People Business Partner/ Senior Manager People Business Partner

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid - 3 days in Office)

Job Description

Sabre is looking to hire a strategic People Business Partner at the expert - principal level in our Bangalore office. In this position you will be part of the Bangalore People Business Partner Team and work closely with the global teams. You will partner with the Director+ leader community to align our organization’s people strategy with its business strategy. As a strategic partner for the business, you will work on setting priorities, driving value, and delivering business results.

You will partner closely with People Team centers of excellence notably Talent Acquisition, Global Talent Development, and Total Rewards to implement best practices in Bangalore and ensure seamless delivery of global processes.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership:

- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the business strategy and develop HR strategies that support the organization’s goals.
- Provide strategic input and leadership on decisions affecting the organization, including workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management.
- Act as a trusted advisor to people leaders on a wide range of HR matters, including conflict resolution, performance improvement, and employee engagement.

Talent Management:

- Lead talent management initiatives including talent reviews, succession planning and leadership development.
- Partner for key talent development & growth

Change Management:

- Drive and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to support business transformation and culture enhancement.

HR Analytics:

- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to enable data driven decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to drive continuous improvement and business impact.

Total Rewards:

- Collaborate with senior leaders to facilitate informed compensation decisions, analyses, interventions, and insights.
- Provide guidance on compensation strategies and manage the annual compensation review process.

HR Projects & Org Initiatives:

- Lead & partner on HR projects at both the country and team level.
- Partner with the Org initiative leads to seamlessly execute the initiatives, counsel and provide support for success.

External Presence:

- Establish strong connections with external HR forums and industry networks to bring in external perspectives and updates, aiding in informed business decisions and talent impact.

Culture Steward:

- Serve as a People & Culture advisor, coach, and partner with people leaders to ensure their success.
- Provide support to people leaders on their respective employee engagement initiatives.

Job Requirements
- Over 10 years of HR business partnering experience, preferably within Global Capability Centers (GCCs).
- Postgraduate degree in business management with a specialization in HR.
- Effective interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, along with a self-starter mindset.
- An innovative approach to improve processes and solve problems.
- Experienced in HR analytics and data analysis.
- Demonstrates analytical skills and experience with HR metrics and data analysis.
- Skilled in planning and collaborating with various functions and key stakeholders to successfully complete HR projects.
- Actively engaged within the industry and participates in HR forums.
- Possesses a deep understanding of current talent trends and practices.
- Excellent behavioral skills to build effective partnership relations within the organization.
- A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the “pulse” of the supported organization to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
- Coaching and mentoring experience.
- Ability to use data driven analysis to identify problems and build solutions.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization and across matrix functions.
- Strong Project/Program Management and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
