**Job Objective**:
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the inventory control processes. This role aims to ensure accurate inventory management, optimise stock levels, and support operational efficiency to meet customer demands while minimising costs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily inventory operations, ensuring accurate tracking and management of stock levels.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain optimal inventory accuracy.
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to forecast inventory needs and support supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Train and supervise inventory staff, providing guidance on best practices and operational standards.
- Analyse inventory reports and data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with warehouse management to optimise storage space and handling processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards within inventory operations.
- Assist in developing inventory budgets and forecasting for strategic planning.
- Responsible for maintaining data in the system.
- Report discrepancies (if any) promptly to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

**Qualifications & Expertise**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain roles, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and software (e.g., ERP systems).

**Skills**:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
- Effective communication and leadership skills to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in inventory management.
