**Job Tittle**: Officer
- Quality Assurance and Control Department: QA&QC

**Reports to** : Director Technical/Manager Quality and Lab

**Qualifications** : B.Sc. or Diploma, preferably in Rubber Science/Technology

**Experience**: About 2 years in testing and quality management, preferably in the field of rubber compounds and related material including raw material, polymers and other ingredients/auxiliaries used in mixings/production

**Other Skills**: Effective communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software essential for effectiveness on the job

**Scope of work and responsibilities**:

- Testing of incoming raw material and other allied material, intermediate and finished products to ensure conformance to laid down specifications and standards
- Coordinating in laying down specifications and testing SOPs with periodic up-dation
- Handling of all mechanical and chemical testing, preferably, on instruments like FTIR Spectrophotometer, DCC/TGA, GC,GCMS, TOC and any other instruments introduced
- Exposure to Quality Management System
- ISO 1700025
- Maintaining all records/documents of testing and quality assurance activities
- Perform statistical analysis of the data so compiled/collected for continuous improvement in quality
- To communicate with concerned production and material management staff on deviations and vendor rating
- To address customer complaints to identify quality problems and help finding corrective measures
- Storage management of incoming, intermediate and finished products along with recording, and monitoring of shelf-life, re-working and quarantining
- To ensure that all the samples are stored (matured) as per SOP
- To coordinate with the concerned staff for proper maintenance of the lab equipment and tools including timely calibrations

**Job rotation** in other related roles like Compounding/Mixing and Specimen Making etc possible in due course

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
