**Job Summary**:

- The quality control executive will be responsible for the conformance of RM to the buying specifications, its storage and ageing. Resolve customer complaints attributable to raw material (RM)._

**Scope of work**:

- This is an individual contributor role and has no supervisory responsibilities

**Duties/Responsibilities (including but not limited to the below)**:
a. Be well versed with all raw materials

b. Ensure that for each RM there is a Technical Data Sheet (TDS), Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), both in hard as well as soft copies

c. master specification should be available for all RM used in the plant whether it is for R&D, commercial production or internal testing

d. Buying RM specifications should be available for all commercially released materials

e. Verify Raw material and ensure it conforms with the buying specification on receipt at gate

f. Certificate of Analysis must be confirmed on receipt of the raw material at the gate, data should be entered into the system and compared with Master Data and declared if OK or Not OK.

g. Release raw materials for Storage

h. Conduct tests on critical RM annually with external labs to ensure compliance to the supplier’s report

i. Continuously monitor raw materials in R&D and stores; and also monitor finished goods or stored master batches in stock for their shelf life. In both cases i.e. RMs and FG that are about to expire or have already expired follow the revalidation process

j. Ensure storage conditions are followed for all raw materials

k. Rework RM that is either damaged or crossed its shelf life and moved to quarantine else the RM should be treated as per the SOP

l. Ensuring production process continues unhindered by updating all documents and data ongoingly

m. Rating RM suppliers based on the quality of the RMs and timeliness of supply and other parameters

n. Interacting with the supplier if RMs are received in damaged condition or not as per specification and resolve the issue

o. Suggest newer procedures to improve the quality of the incoming materials and the overall system

p. Review customer complaints and analyse if the same can be attributed to the RM

r. Ensure RMs nearing their shelf life are monitored much prior so that the necessary actions can be taken prior to the expiry to maintain continuity in the materials; further in case of revalidation, re verification and extension of shelf life the same must be updated within the ERP.

s. All process documents including SOPs should be updated from time to time.

Note: The position will rotate between the departments such as QC, Mixing and Testing.

**Education and Experience**:

- Diploma CIPET (Preferrable) or B.Sc (Chemistry) with 0 to 1 years of relevant experience

**Physical Requirements**:
This role entails working with stores, despatch and doing material analysis and working on a computer.
- Note: CTC offered will depend on the applicant's present compensation (for those with work experience)_

**Salary**: ₹192,000.00 - ₹204,000.00 per year
