**Position**: Officer - Quality Assurance & Quality Control

**Location**: Silvassa, India

**Job Summary**:

- The quality assurance staff will be responsible for testing / analysing RM, FG for conformance to specifications, their storage and management. Facilitate development of prototype/sample products_

**Scope of work**:
This is an individual contributor role and has no supervisory responsibilities

**Duties/Responsibilities/Competencies (including but not limited to the below)**:

- Conduct tests, inspect and monitor raw materials, products (including in process) and finished goods (FG) to ensure conformance to specification and standards while strictly adhering to standard operating procedure (SOPs)
- Perform statistical analysis/tests and record findings accurately.
- Approve the right products or flag and reject defectives.
- Check dimensions and surface quality of random batches of finished products to ensure conformance to customer specification and company quality standards.
- Record and compile statistical quality and test data.
- Give inputs and provide data that will go into preparing reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
- Suggest ways to improve efficiency.
- Document product defects and report them to the concerned person/reporting authority/supervisor/manager.
- Maintain record and documentation of test results, defects identified, and other key metrics related to quality control.
- Report inspection outcomes and findings to the responsible team or person
- Investigate customer complaints and outliers and non-conformance issues.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor / manager / reporting authority from time to time.

Note: This position will rotate between the departments such as QC, Mixing and Testing.

- Polymer & Rubber Science/Technology
- Testing Skills

**Education and Experience**:

- Graduate in science or Engineering with 0 to 2 years of experience with bias to product development/testing work. Knowledge of relevant aspects of polymer & Rubber science/technology preferred.

**Other Requirements**:
This role entails doing material analysis / testing; working with stores; despatch and working on a computer.
- Note: CTC offered will depend on the applicant's present compensation_
