We are looking for a full-time Regional Innovation & AI Coach with a passion for teaching new age innovative curricula like Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and programming to teachers for one of our partners in Kolkata, DITO Social Welfare Association. They have started STEM for Girls program with the following objectives: - Increasing representation of girls in Science streams in classes XI and XII. - Increasing representation of women and girls in the technical workforce of the country. - Encouraging girls towards innovation and technology. - Imbibing 21st century skill-set in their curriculum which is also an important component of NEP 2020. - Making Science and the scientific concept fun by introducing "learning by doing" pedagogy for teaching. To fulfil the above objectives we have implemented the program in two schools as of now in Bally, Howrah region. Both these schools are Government-aided schools with a student strength of 500. We have selected 25 students from classes VI, VII, VIII, IX and X each with the aid of a screening and aptitude test. We are imparting STEM-based teaching learning sessions in batches of 25 all through the day in 5 classes of duration 40 mins each. The classes are designed in a manner that the children get hands-on experience of preparing innovative projects that target a solution to any real-life problem. They require a trainer, who can work in a dedicated manner abiding by the rules and regulation of our organization. He/she should be able to train the children around the curriculum prepared by us and also prepare proper documentation of the projects prepared by children. We also want our children to participate in competitions at the national level. Hence, the trainer should be competent enough to understand the needs of children and impart the training accordingly. **Responsibilities and Duties** - Conducting capacity-building programs on Coding, AI, and Robotics for teachers of classes 3-12 through experiments and hands-on activities. - Maintaining the progress report of each capacity building and reporting it to the school authority. - Manage schools for yearlong support. - Register and maintain students records on our online course portal. **Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications** - Strong interest in teaching. - Experience in the areas of robotics, Electronics, Arduino, IoT, and AI is a plus. - Proficient in Python programming. - Interest in creative things like arts, paper crafts, and DIY project making. - Passion for bringing an innovative change in our education system. - Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Fluency in English/Hindi. - Ability to manage and communicate with a large group of audience.
