- Regularly monitor stock levels and reorder items as necessary to avoid shortages.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out).
- Conduct regular stocktaking and reconcile physical inventory with recorded stock levels.
- **Storage & Organization**:
- Ensure that all items are stored in the appropriate conditions (temperature control, shelving, etc.) to maintain quality and safety.
- Organize storage areas (dry storage, refrigerators, freezers) to optimize space and accessibility.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of storage areas to meet health and safety standards.
- **Supply Distribution**:
- Distribute supplies and ingredients to relevant departments (kitchen, bar, service areas) as requested.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff and management to fulfill stock needs for daily operations.
- Track and monitor the usage of high-value or specialty items to prevent wastage.
- **Vendor & Order Coordination**:
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Track and manage supplier invoices, ensuring they align with delivered goods.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers and assist in identifying cost-effective sourcing options.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Regularly check the expiry dates of stored items and ensure proper disposal of expired products.
- Follow restaurant policies for the safe handling of chemicals and cleaning materials.
- **Record Keeping & Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including deliveries, transfers, and wastage.
- Provide regular reports on stock levels, inventory needs, and discrepancies to management.
- Assist with budgeting by tracking stock usage and identifying areas for cost control.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to ₹18,000.00 per month
