Restaurant Store Keeper

A Restaurant Storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and efficiently fulfilling orders for a restaurant. They oversee receiving deliveries, maintaining stock levels, and organizing the storage area to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Key Responsibilities:
- **Inventory Management**: Receiving, storing, and issuing materials and supplies.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- **Order Fulfillment**: Ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of requisitions from the kitchen and bar.
- **Stock Control**: Maintaining optimal stock levels, preventing shortages, and minimizing waste.
- **Receiving and Inspection**: Inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damages.
- **Storage Area Management**: Keeping the storage area clean, organized, and safe.
- **FIFO Rotation**: Ensuring proper FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation of inventory to prevent spoilage.
- **Communication**: Interacting with suppliers, kitchen staff, and other restaurant personnel to coordinate orders and deliveries.
- **Safety Compliance**: Following all food safety regulations and procedures.
Skills and Qualities:
- **Attention to Detail**: Accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management is crucial.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to keep the storage area and inventory well-organized.
- **Time Management**: Efficiently managing time to receive deliveries, process orders, and maintain stock levels.
- **Communication Skills**: Clear and effective communication with staff and suppliers.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- **Knowledge of Inventory Management Software**: Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
- **Food Safety Knowledge**: Understanding and following food safety regulations and procedures.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
