Kazam is a device-agnostic EV fuelling platform with global scalability, enabling the e-mobility ecosystem for Charge Point Operators, Fleet Operators, and Electricity Grids to run a hassle-free business without worrying about technology. In the new age of connected electric vehicles, energy demand will go up at all premises and a software layer will be needed to manage energy and the vehicle for various customer segments. Kazam provides a complete software stack for charging and vehicle management, independent to: 1. Hardware of fuelling 2. charging stations or battery swapping 3. Vehicle brand. The prominent value propositions used by Kazam’s customers are payment solutions, asset protection and monitoring, interoperability across multiple manufacturers, ensuring safety and overall resource management to reduce cost & improve profitability, white labeled front end, dynamic load management solution, uptime of vehicles using telematics and EV charging demand generation.

**Job Overview**:
**Role & responsibilities**:

- **Lead Generation**: Identify and target potential customers, such as homeowners, electric vehicle owners, and residential developers.
- **Sales Strategy**: Develop and execute strategies to penetrate the B2C market and increase sales of EV chargers.
- **Customer Engagement**: Build and maintain relationships with potential customers through effective communication, presentations, and demonstrations of product offerings.
- **Product Knowledge**: Gain in-depth knowledge of EV charging products and services, and effectively communicate the technical features and benefits to customers.
- **Sales Targets**: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, and report on key performance metrics.
- **Market Research**: Stay updated on the latest trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the EV market.
- **Customer Support**: Provide post-sales support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and handle any issues related to installation or maintenance.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and product launches.
- **Contract Negotiation**: Assist in the negotiation of contracts and closing of deals in line with company guidelines.
- **Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools, and provide regular reports to management.

**Requirements**:
1. **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with proven experience).

2. **Experience**: 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the EV industry, automotive, consumer electronics, or a related field.

3. **Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to understand and explain technical products to non-technical customers.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2C environment.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and MS Office.
