**1. Machine Operation**
- Set up and operate forging machinery such as presses, hammers, and upsetters to shape metal pieces.
- Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, temperature, and pressure) according to job specifications.
- Monitor machines during operations to ensure proper function and product quality.

**2. Tool and Die Maintenance**
- Install, align, and secure dies, molds, and tooling components.
- Inspect tools and dies for wear or damage and replace or repair them as needed.
- Maintain the proper lubrication of dies and forging equipment to ensure smooth operations.

**3. Quality Control**
- Inspect finished products for defects such as cracks, warping, or improper dimensions.
- Use precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications.
- Make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.

**4. Material Handling**
- Load raw materials (e.g., metal billets, bars, or ingots) into the forging machine.
- Remove forged components and place them in designated areas for cooling, trimming, or further processing.
- Handle materials safely using lifting equipment such as cranes or forklifts when needed.

**5. Process Monitoring**
- Monitor the forging process, including heat treatment, to ensure consistent product quality.
- Observe temperature controls and operate heating furnaces as required.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues during the forging process to minimize downtime.

**6. Safety and Compliance**
- Follow workplace safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to operational guidelines and company policies to ensure safe machine operation.
- Conduct pre-operation and post-operation safety checks on equipment.

**7. Maintenance and Reporting**
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of forging machinery and tools.
