Job Title: Forging Process Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Forging Process Engineer to lead and manage the engineering function for forging operations.

  • Review product drawings and translate them into forgeable designs.
  • Oversee die and tooling design in coordination with the tooling department.
  • Use simulation software to validate and optimize forging processes.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in forging simulation, die design, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop process flow charts, forging sequences, and layouts for new and existing parts.
  • Standardize forging parameters and implement best practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time, scrap, and rework.

This role requires strong knowledge of forging processes, proficiency in CAD and simulation software, and excellent leadership skills.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Production Engineering
  • M.Tech or PG Diploma in Forging Technology (preferred)
  • 8–15 years of relevant experience in forging engineering
