**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets (importers/exporters, manufacturers, traders, etc.).
- Promote and sell the company’s container shipping and freight forwarding services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead in the industry.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Collaborate with operations, customer service, and pricing teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Negotiate rates and service terms with customers in line with company policy.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance market visibility.
**Required Qualifications and Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics sector.
- Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of container shipping operations and global trade lanes is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
