Executive Chef

**Job Overview**:
The executive chef is responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation, managing the culinary team, and ensuring the consistent preparation of high-quality food. They play a crucial role in menu planning, food cost control, staff training, and maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Menu Planning**:
- Develop and create innovative menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with the management team to design and update menus to meet business goals.
2. **Culinary Operations**:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and visual appeal.
- Monitor and control portion sizes and maintain consistency in food preparation.
3. **Kitchen Management**:
- Lead and manage the kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Delegate tasks to kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
4. **Quality Control**:
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Monitor kitchen equipment to ensure proper functioning and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
5. **Cost Control**:
- Manage food costs through effective inventory management, portion control, and waste reduction.
- Work with suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and source high-quality ingredients.
6. **Creativity and Innovation**:
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques, ingredients, and cuisines into the menu.
- Continuously strive for culinary excellence and maintain a creative approach to food preparation.
7. **Compliance and Safety**:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Stay informed about food safety guidelines and implement necessary training for staff.
8. **Customer Relations**:
- Interact with customers to gather feedback and make improvements to the menu and dining experience.
- Address customer concerns or special dietary requests with professionalism.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as an executive chef or in a similar leadership role.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
**Working Conditions**:
- Executive chefs often work long hours, including evenings and weekends.
- They work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, requiring physical stamina and mental resilience.
**Salary**: ₹45,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Rotational shift
**Experience**:
