We are seeking a skilled and passionate Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) specializing in Continental Cuisine to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow their culinary skills.

**Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation and Cooking**:

- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in the Continental section, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
- Assist in menu development by contributing innovative ideas for Continental dishes.
- Ensure dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation across all dishes.

**Kitchen Operations**:

- Monitor stock levels, prepare requisitions, and minimize food waste.
- Ensure all food preparation meets quality, portion control, and hygiene standards.
- Assist in supervising and training junior staff or kitchen helpers.

**Hygiene and Safety**:

- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring a clean and organized work area.
- Maintain kitchen equipment, report any maintenance issues, and ensure proper use of tools.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including safe food storage and handling procedures.

**Collaboration and Teamwork**:

- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to meet customer expectations.
- Participate in team briefings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

**Key Skills and Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably specializing in Continental Cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of Continental cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality dishes.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines.
- Culinary diploma or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
