**Job Overview**:
Looking for a proactive **IT (Systems) Associate** to support, maintain, and improve our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and secure operations across our internal and external technology environments.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage and maintain **system infrastructure**, including servers, networks, and storage
- Perform **system monitoring**, backups, and routine maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve **hardware, software, and connectivity issues**:

- Ensure **endpoint security**, antivirus updates, and patch management
- Assist with the deployment of **new hardware and software**:

- Maintain asset inventory and IT documentation
- Provide **tech support** to employees and coordinate with vendors as needed

**Primary Skills (Must-Have)**:

- Experience with **Windows/Linux system administration**:

- Familiarity with **networking fundamentals** (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
- Understanding of **Active Directory, Office 365**, and cloud-based systems
- Basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation familiarity
- Experience with **IT support ticketing systems** and user support

**Secondary Skills (Good-to-Have)**:

- Exposure to **cloud platforms** (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of **cybersecurity principles** and data protection policies
- Experience with **virtualization** (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Interest in **social impact tech environments** or NGO tech support

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 1-5 years of experience in a systems or IT support role
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving, impact-driven organization
