- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management

Experience:

- Total Experience : 3 Years as a Chef

Minimum Experience : 1 -2 Years of Proven experience as a South Indian Chef or similar role, with expertise in preparing a variety of South Indian dishes

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, sambar, rasam, and various curries.
- Create and innovate recipes while maintaining the traditional flavors and techniques of South Indian cuisine.
- Ensure high-quality food presentation and consistency in taste and texture.
- Manage kitchen operations, including ingredient procurement, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to uphold food safety standards and maintain cleanliness.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus and specials that showcase South Indian cuisine.
- Adapt recipes and menus to accommodate dietary restrictions and customer preferences.
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste to maintain profitability.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques related to South Indian cuisine.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to kitchen team members to foster a positive work environment.

Other Qualifications:

- In-depth knowledge of South Indian culinary techniques, spices, and ingredients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
- Food safety certification is preferred.
- Creativity and innovation in recipe development.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
